Degree and PhD in Town Planning, his main photographic interest is in human settlements and landscape representation and survey. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including Ereditare il paesaggio (Museo del Territorio Biellese, Biella, 2007, catalogue published by Electa, Venice), Global Photography (SiFest 2009) and Visions and Documents (Festival Internazionale di Roma 2010). He was awarded at the Premio Fotografico Atlante Italiano 07, organized by Italian Ministry for Arts and Culture. His work is represented in major public collections, including the Maxxi (National Museum for 21st Century Arts) in Rome, the Museum of Biella Territory, Linea di Confine per la Fotografia Contemporanea, The University Museum of Photography in Bari. He is co-founder of Documentary Platform and coordinates the Laboratory of Architecture and Landscape Photography at the Technical University of Bari.
